Cars for Sale in Alabama
When you think about Alabama and you don't call the state home, chances are a few things come immediately to mind. Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama." Yelling out "ROLL TIDE" as the University of Alabama's Crimson Tide football team takes the stage. Perhaps even the simple charm of Tom Hanks' iconic performance as Forrest Gump, who hailed from Alabama. But what you should be thinking about is cars. Speed. Cars. The open road. They're all a huge part of what makes Alabama the state it is today.
Did you know Alabama boasts nearly 180,000 auto industry jobs? Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz both have manufacturing plants in the state, for a combined job total of 5,800. The state racked up nearly $9 billion in new car sales in 2014 alone. That's a lot of cars coming from the 2,872 dealerships from around the state. Of course, it's not just retail cars that Alabamans are so enamored with. They also feel the need. The need for speed, that is. Which would explain why there are two of the South's hottest race tracks in the state, Talladega Super Speedway and East Alabama Motor Speedway.
Just make sure you don't drive blindfolded. That is, explicitly, against the law in Alabama.
